Joining the Porvair Sciences range of manual and automated equipment is the next generation AutoCapper. Designed to take the strain out of applying friction sealing caps to deep well plates, the compact AutoCapper is small enough to fit on most lab benches.
The electronic sealer has been designed by Porvair Sciences to do all the hard work for you. A rack or plate with its attendant cap mat are simply placed in the drawer and pushed firmly shut. From then on, the sophisticated electronics take over, forcing the cap mat down into each well by applying consistent, even pressure.
In addition to its small footprint for laboratory benches and the increased speed it adds to workflow, the versatile AutoCapper enables the automated application of friction sealing caps. The revolutionary tool makes the entire process both more reproducible and quicker, while also reducing the likelihood of strain injury caused by applying caps manually.
The AutoCapper allows scientists to easily cap both shallow and deep well polypropylene storage plates using a universal plate “shuttle”. What’s more, the electronic applicator has been powder coated to resist chemical spillage.
